On Wednesday 15^th November, some of our Sixth Form students attended Advertising Unlocked – an Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) certified industry-wide careers Open Day where the world of advertising invites students across the UK to participate in a series of workshops. Agencies around the country take part in the industry’s nationwide open day to showcase careers to the next generation of talent. Our students were hosted by Generation Media – a leading independent specialist for communication to children, families, young people, and gamers globally. The day also consisted of presentations from Digital Cinema Media (DCM), Super Awesome, TikTok and Snapchat. The companies spoke about their work concerning building a safer internet and entertainment spaces for young people. Details on what the students got up to on the day can be found here.
