Each local authority has what is called a 'Local Offer' which explains what it provides for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and how it supports them and their families.
Support may include, amongst other things, practical help with health issues, transport to school, leisure activities, training and work opportunities after the age of 18, personal budgets and advice on carers' allowances.
You can find out everything your local authority offers by searching their website.
Here are links to the local offers of three local authorities:
If you have any difficulty understanding the information provided by your local authority, please contact our SENDCo, Dawn Henriques at dhenriques@greigcityacademy.co.uk or on 020 8609 0180. Ms Henrigues will be happy to help you.
