The Extended Certificate is for learners who are interested in learning about Law alongside other fields of study with a view to progressing to a wide range of higher education courses, not necessarily in Law-related subjects.
BTEC Level 3 Nationals in Law offers learners: work-related learning, giving learners an edge and opening the door to higher education or employment in the legal sector. Clear progression routes into higher education or employment: such as a degree in Law, or direct entry level employment and training as a paralegal, data analyst, mediator or a stockbroker. Transferable skills development such as teamwork, creative problem solving and research.
Entry requirements
You need to have a minimum grade of 4 in English and Maths to be accepted for this course. You will also need to have an interest in researching about cases that have occurred in the past.

This course has four units. They include two external controlled assessments and two internal coursework’s that the learners need to complete. Learners will attempt one controlled assessment and complete one coursework in each year
