Congratulations to the team of five students from 8LW who won first place in the Middlesex University ‘Junior Entrepreneur of the Year’ competition.

The first task for Raequel, Keishana, Augustina, Robert and Ade was to conduct market research with Middlesex students to find out the sorts of facilities they would like on campus.

One idea was an all-female gym. Another Middlesex student was keen to have a swimming pool. The idea that GCA students worked on was the creation of the gaming room but this wasn’t just about playing computer games. Our five entrepreneurs designed a room where students could use an app with games to improve their language skills – both English and any other language they wanted to learn. Ade explained that the room would also function as a social club.
