Year 10 History students visited the Imperial War Museum

23rd Jan 2025

A note from Ms Ramirez:

Year 10 History students visited the Imperial War Museum to take part in the Holocaust Galleries Immersive Learning Programme, an important precursor to their upcoming trip to Belgium.

During the visit, students used interactive pads to explore the galleries and engaged in discussions with curators about the significance of learning about the Holocaust—particularly poignant as we mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz this month.

We were extremely impressed by the maturity, respect, and curiosity our students demonstrated throughout the day. Their excellent behaviour did not go unnoticed, with members of the public commenting on how well they conducted themselves—including a very impressed-looking Alan Titchmarsh on the tube!
