Back to newsAn exciting day for the Beekeepers of GCA today as we welcomed two new NUCs (a nucleus colony with a new Queen and about 3,000 - 5,000 honey bees to accompany her)
4th Jun 2024Both NUCs have travelled down from the Midlands overnight and are now settled in their new homes (thanks to Mr. Porter and a team of student beekeepers), - hives built and assembled by GCA pupils with Mr. Hilmi in the Technology block! We look forward to the tsunami of honey at the end of the summer!!!
