At the beginning of March, we had 5 teams competing in the UK VEX Robotics Championships; three competed in the High School tournament and two teams competed in the IQ tournament. 

All the teams have been working extremely hard every day since May last year to develop their robots, their engineering expertise, designing their entire robots using CAD, then redesigning and perfecting their design work through rigorous testing and programming to compete at the highest level in this year's competition. All these students work through break, lunchtimes, after school and at weekends to get their robots ready to compete on the world stage.

VEX HIGH SCHOOL.

After a tough competition against 67 of the very best robots and teams in the UK ATORE, who led the Brunel division for the entire competition, won the Amaze Award and have again qualified for VEX World Robotics Championships in Dallas Texas. This is the 2^nd time ATORE have qualified! As a school we have qualified for World championships 5 years in a row!

VEX IQ

After a tough two days Error led their division for the entire competition, narrowly missed winning in the finals. They ended their run 3^rd overall in the UK, have qualified to represent the United Kingdom at the World Middle Schools Championships in Dallas Texas. This is the 2nd time they have qualified!

UnKn0wn had a really tough tournament and despite their best efforts couldn’t get to the finals.
