On Friday, 16 September, we were delighted to welcome Peter Cazalet, Master of the Tallow Chandler's Company, to present the company's university bursary awards for STEM subjects.

The subject awards are presented to the student, who, at the end of Year 12, has displayed the best combination of application and effort, who has made excellent progress and who has the potential to achieve the best grade in the teaching group in the examination at the end of the course. Many congratulations to these six students, who received a cheque for £500.

Winners receive an additional £1000 when they go on to university. We wish last year's winners, three of whom were able to join us on the 16th, a fruitful university career. Their universities are lucky to have them.
