On Saturday, November 6 we hosted the 2nd VEX Robotics tournament of the season, a large event with schools from all over England competing – an exciting day!

We fielded 2 teams in only their 2nd competition in VRC robotics and they led the field for most of the day. One team was knocked out in the semifinals and the other reached the finals but didn't win the match. They did win the Robot Skills Award!

it was a long day and both teams helped set up the night before and then helped take everything down again after the tournament. We also have the help of a neck student now at university, Mitchell Kingsland, who volunteered to umpire and make sure that the day went smoothly.
